At Magnolia Mutts Rescue, we believe that animal care begins with compassion and continues through education. Our mission extends beyond rescue, we’re committed to teaching the public how to responsibly care for animals in homes, shelters, and foster settings. Through workshops, outreach, and resources, we aim to build a culture of animal care that leads to better lives for dogs and stronger communities. Every effort we make supports our vision that animal care is a shared community responsibility.

Community-Based Education Programs

Our animal care education programs are designed to empower individuals and families with the knowledge they need to make a difference. We offer hands-on training, free learning resources, and community events focused on animal health, safety, and behavior.

 Topics covered in our animal care education sessions include:

“Adopted Pippin was the best thing that had ever happened! When my mom and dad finally caved in to get a dog, we looked at a couple other dogs, but they just weren’t the right ones. But then we saw Pippin, her profile said “super calm also loves to play” this process was so worth the wait. Once we got our sweetheart, she was still very scared. But after about a week or so, she would never leave anyone’s side and would be with you every second. And also anytime me or my dad would try to leave the door she would come running and would sit by the door, waiting for us to come home, she is super sweet, super playful, super gentle and loves everyone best idea ever!” ⁃ Gabby

We adopted our first dog Beau, as a puppy, after Jenni so lovingly took he, his mama, and his sister in from a horrible situation.
