At Magnolia Mutts Rescue, animal welfare is more than a cause, it’s our purpose. Since our founding in 2019, we've worked tirelessly across Grenada and Panola Counties to protect, care for, and uplift dogs in need. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission revolves around animal welfare, ensuring every dog is given a fair chance to live a healthy, happy, and loved life. Our commitment to animal welfare inspires everything we do, from community education to hands-on care.

A Mission Rooted in Compassion

As a nonprofit animal rescue, Magnolia Mutts Rescue was established in response to a serious gap in local support services for mistreated and homeless dogs. Mississippi ranks among the lowest in the nation for animal protection, and we work daily to change that.

Our services include:

  • Immediate intake of abandoned and neglected dogs

  • Medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services

  • Safe, structured foster placements

  • Educational outreach on humane treatment and pet responsibility

“Adopted Pippin was the best thing that had ever happened! When my mom and dad finally caved in to get a dog, we looked at a couple other dogs, but they just weren’t the right ones. But then we saw Pippin, her profile said “super calm also loves to play” this process was so worth the wait. Once we got our sweetheart, she was still very scared. But after about a week or so, she would never leave anyone’s side and would be with you every second. And also anytime me or my dad would try to leave the door she would come running and would sit by the door, waiting for us to come home, she is super sweet, super playful, super gentle and loves everyone best idea ever!” ⁃ Gabby

We adopted our first dog Beau, as a puppy, after Jenni so lovingly took he, his mama, and his sister in from a horrible situation.
